One pixel rectangle with a dashed border should work well.

  • Posted to Ask DN: How do you manage UX copy and translations in your company?, Apr 09, 2019

We use Phraseapp for all text strings in our app. Mostly we, designers, are the one responsible for main (English) copy, but we're not native, so we're supported by the content/marketing team if we're not sure about some stuff. The caveat of working with marketing people is that sometimes they don't get how UI copy should tell users the message in the most concise way. Translations are handled by external people, I'm not really involved in this process.

We use an ATS saas for the recruitment process. Actually, we use our own, as I work in Recruitee. Sorry for a shameless plug, but having a visual pipeline for your candidates is really helpful. It's like a kanban board split into stages of your process, so you can see people who applied, people who you've sourced, the ones that you've talked to, the ones that got an offer, stuff like that.

Just remember to be kind enough to inform the candidates that you're turning them down, so they don't wait infinitely long for a response. Unfortunately this ain't a standard yet.

Still, it's a damn joke there's a bug that won't allow you to work on an external display. And it's been reported years ago. Same with default brushes - reset to default isn't working.

So even though I have saved my Sketch file (synced with Dropbox) I still need to upload a new version to Avocode manually?

You know it's related to the "press" part of the name, right? Gimmick, but adds a nice touch to overall context.
