Just gonna, y'know, revive this 5 year old thread with some shameless self promotion: https://dribbble.com/cameronsagey
This is the best hahaha. Might just rebound with a random shot of my own
Just gonna revive this thread real quick hah. They got rid of it again!! I think they should add reddit style pages like "new" "hot" "popular" and "rising". Would help so much for exposure
Great article
I tried it before you guys released the timeline feature. I wasn't impressed (slow and lacking features) when I first tried it but I'll take another look. Looks useful
They REALLY want you to stay lol
Nice i'm digging the interactions
I think really original or conceptual thinking that shows in the work is important. Honesty about what role they had in each project, showing process work, and obviously the aesthetic. Often bad hierarchy / size relationships is a red flag, but to an extent that's a hard skill so if the thinking is there, it matters less. The way they communicate and explain their work is important too.
Some of the articles in InVisions newsletter are pretty good. I didn't sign up for it on purpose, but I didn't unsubscribe either :p

Yeah I agree, the lighting and viewing angle on stage also made it look really bad. There was a lot about that presentation that hurt the perception of it - Hard for people to get past the combined cyberpunk theme, cybertruck name, way different design, and the seemingly unrehearsed presentation. If everything else was normal and it was just the design that was out of peoples comfort zone, people may have warmed up to it much faster.
I think the videos and renders they have on the site look much better but there's still room for improvement, so I'm really hoping they refine it before production. Something about the height of the bed and the tight spacing around the front wheel still throws me off - proportions are funky for the sideview.
