Cheers mate! Yup, we are cooking something new ;-) Do you have any specific theme that you would like to see?

I'm really curious about this. I just bought 1000 views for 7$, for 1 month. Let's see how this goes and what are the final results.

  • Posted to Have you bought a Ui kit? What was the reason behind the purchase?, Mar 14, 2018

I bought two UI kits so far. The main reason was to actually speed up the process when the deadline was tight. But each UI kit was modified in terms of UI, mostly fonts and color scheme.

When I want to buy a UI kit I'm looking to have a structure similar to my wireframes, so I can win some time. I'm not always looking for a theme orientated kit. So for example if I'm working on a food-delivery app, I might also look for a "coporate"ui kit, not only related to the business niche.

Totally agree with the side projects. I am in your exact same position, I've had different jobs as a lead or senior designer, but almost every day I worked on side projects too.

Now my portfolio looks really impressive and I can handle different jobs and type of clients without any major issues.

So as an advice for everyone that wants to start working in this field: don't focus only on your daytime job!

    Hey,

We're using Adobe XD and its perfect for what we need. We do however wait for Invision Studio to be released and test it :)

Good animations and micro interactions, but a bad experience overall. I couldn't find out more info about them or click on any of the links.

I'm really curious about what a regular person - not a tech savy one - would interact with this.
