I never said anything about hiring a designer. Since when did redesigns become only about the design and not the content? Content strategy and research is an essential part of any website design process.

Couldn't agree more Faruk, content is becoming a major part of the design process in many design teams with fields like UX writing and microcopy etc.

I think the best thing Designers can do is be mindful and pay attention to the content of the websites they design. Involve the writers in your process, add the final copy early on and make the website around it instead of using Lorem ipsum.

Hey Simon, Thanks for the feedback. Someone else had mentioned that as well. I'll be making some changes to make the services I offer more clear. Thought I'd go with this for now as I've been delaying and perfecting the site for way too long!

The button clickability is a Calendly implementation problem that I'm looking into!

I thought the effect was subtle enough to not distract readers from the content. I do think it serves a purpose though: adds a little life to the website and makes the long form content a little more digestible.

But I'll see how I can tone it down, especially on mobile :)
