Recently my friend and me made new version of Chars, our simple app for taking notes that also has Unicode characters keyboard.
There were 350+ builds since version 1.1 and almost 3 years of overnight and weekend-development. We're proud of what we've made.
Version 2 has a lot of free features like multiple notes, build-in and iOS search, Unicode keyboard, right-to-left languages support, haptic and sound feedback to every action, iPad, portrait, and landscape support, etc.
It also has optional in-app purchase that will allow to sync notes via iCloud, choose colors for notes, and export text as picture. We made that you can try all paid features for free for a month to understand if you really need it.
Please, try Chars and tell what you think? So we can improve the app in future updates. I hope you'll like it!

Oh, that’s a nice idea about importing!
Btw, Chars Extra also allows to export text as image. For Twitter, Facebook… that kind of stuff.
It has a keyboard with popular Unicode characters (that's why the app calls Chars). To activate it, press command ⌘ icon while writing a note. You can see it at the third screenshot. From the other side the app is for taking notes. It's simple. I suppose that's why people express their impressions in reviews in a simple way. It would be cool if you tell us your honest thoughts about the app so we can improve it. Thanks.
Not yet, but we’re thinking about adding it in future updates.
Oh wow. Looks like Firefox doesn't support fluid SVGs. I fixed it. Thank you!
New Chars version 2 and its simple and clear website that tells about features and demonstrates screenshots. I think the website turned out representing Chars design principles very well.
It would be nice if you suggest me which animals are missing so I can add it in future updates. And, of course, if you have any feedback, don't hesitate to tell me. Thanks!

My new personal homepage is in the interwebs. What do think about it?
I like how it worked out. Not too graphically trendy, not too technologically stuffed. Exactly what I wanted. Just right. Is it good or bad overall? Maybe I should change something?
