It's about relying on someone to normalizing the different user-styles that browsers have.
Building something without a common base (reset or normalize) means you'll have to make up for the differences yourself.

Perch is also a very well made alternative. Backend is easy for clients and Perch is great for converting static sites that doesn't conform to the title+body mantra of Wordpress.
Are you sure you want to use cover background images? I don't really see the benefit as a tool like yours is supposed to get out of the way. Adding thumbnails for 'your files' is another suggestion.
You could also try and stick with a single 'upload button' instead of the two different ones, you're using now.
Out of curiousity, how's your backend structured?
Performance is very fine on my 2007 iMac, it's fun! But it was only on the second visit I noticed there was a menu. On every page it's feels like a "find the content" game to me.
Yea, actually I switched back to Source Code Pro after a day with M+ as it was just too condensed for my taste. But I gave it another go and now I really enjoy the extra space it gives you.
I definitely feel black text on light backgrounds is easier on the eyes. I've been using a modified version of Eiffel and the Github theme together with the M+ FONTS and I enjoy the focus on comments: See screenshot.
Hey no offense, but it's a lot easier to get an overview with http://www.livescores.com/soccer/england/ - yea? If the project was about learning new things, that's great! If it was to keep track of English Premier League, there are ways to improve it as people mention here. Keep it up.
What did you consider? It looks pretty but not really handy or useful when all you really want is a table presentation smiley.
