Yes, please do!
We do, however we wanted something easier.
Hello!
Sorry for the late response, this is a design case that's why we are showing our design and not the implemented look. The numbers are for the three months after release. Things evened out after a while, and if you live in Japan you might also notice that their local vendor have redesigned the whole app since we launched it one year ago :( We're not sure why.
Hello,
Late response and I'm sorry. I'll try to answer some of these questions to the best of my knowledge.
This was not a redesign but rather a app launch. That is, there where no McDonalds app in Japan before this. It was also widely marketed in Japan at the time of the launch. Vouchers was the main feature and it was a new feature.
Worth noting, this is a design case and the numbers are for the three months after release. Things evened out after a while, and if you live in Japan you might also notice that their local vendor have redesigned the whole app. :(
While you are correct in theory, I've been playing around with the Oi site for quite some time now and it feels great on my 27" screen. Great work by Work & Co!

Glad you liked the list. I had great fun writing it.
Thank you!
We use design sprints in almost all our conceptual work. It's a great way of coming up with, and testing stuff, fast and efficient. Works great with clients. Takes some gettings used to, and some variations based on the project and client (unpack for example usually takes 2-3 days in a normal project for us - decide less than a day). Start on an internal project before testing it out on clients is my recommendation.
Oh god yes!
One of the main benefits of being a designer is that you own, or has a friend who owns a SLR, and you can art direct a nice looking photo. Everyone looks nice with a bokeh background. This is a huge pro for job applications and dating apps.
Edit: apparently not in the US. That's so strange! I'm from Europe.
