Out of curiosity, what is it that this library does to improve performance over just doing the animations in CSS? It looks like it's just applying the CSS animations inline?
Ah, nice. Thanks for the insight. I'm working on a project now that has sections which are often printed, so I've been interested in learning more about print styles.
Looks pretty similar to HTML5 Boilerplate's print styles, with some slight differences.
As mentioned, I'd also be interested in reading about what the "best printing CSS practices" actually are that these are based on.

There's also behind-the-scenes improvements on how all the graphic elements are done. In the Material Design version, everything is rendered programmatically, so no more image assets for icons and stuff. That also means better rendering on all kinds of screens.
