Oh, I work as a frontend engineer now. Back then it was more on advertising and printed design work. The transition was tough learning how to code from scratch but it was all worth it :)

Hi! I'm not a full-time designer anymore but would like to share my usual day when I was still on the job. I work in Japan.

    • My work usually start at 9am, but I wake up around 8am. There aren't really a lot of time there so I take my breakfast at work.
    • While drinking coffee and eating breakfast at my desk, I usually spend my morning by checking and organizing my inbox and tasks. I also read design related news and check for inspirations or downloadable stuff that I can use for next projects.
    • Around noon I usually take lunch alone. I was the only female employee on our company by that time so I'm usually alone.
    • After lunch I'll start to work on my tasks and submit them before going home.
    • During weekdays I just play games and do mock sketches at home if I still have time but I usually go to pubs or places near my office to grab some drinks.
    • I usually go home around 3am or 4am.

This routine went on for 3 years and there were a lot of stress working as a designer here so I quit my job and move to another city to have a different job.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! The screen share feature is already on our top priority list for our next update : - ) We're getting a lot of request for this feature so we're already working on it!

Hi there!! Thank you for the first comment!! Our team still haven't decided if we're releasing the code on GitHub since there are still parts of the website where we don't have full control with. We'll release an update as soon as the issue is settled with this one.

Hi! Thank you for the comment! Well, since both web service uses webRTC I can say that we're quite similar to appear.in. 1meeting was already launched back in November 2012, and was built for the purpose to have a web video chat service that is easy to use even for Japanese users.

I know there are still a lot of work to do with this one, but we're trying our best to improve. PS. If you have any suggestions, feel free to drop a message. :)
