I wouldn't buy one (cause I don't wear watches) but the site is funny funny.
Wish there were more sites like this :)
Hah, I forgot to add the version in the title of the post and posted a comment with "9". Now that was a sign!
(you can check the timestamps of the original post ... I had no idea)
It just hit me, he cannot make much under water cause capacitive screens don't work ... That's why he is only making pictures using the side button ... Nice idea anyway, and much work behind the scenes.
Title seems no longer apropiate ...
Have you ever seen a glass and steel phone before it? It's crazy right? It's exactly the reason I like it, it was completely nuts. I don;t want an ordinary phone. I want one made of laminated Flubber or whatever exotic material they find.
Glass does not age at all and glass has become even better and more resistant in the last years. Aluminum is more prone to plastic deformation and bigger dents. Steel ages way better, it only gets shinier where aluminum only gets scratches.
I also agree about the weight factor, but it's not an airplane and it does not have to have lift-off capability.

Have feedback?
Yep, I like the looks too.
It's a bit SF ... and they are self contradicting. I mean they say it "will not replace the drver" but on the front they only put decorative led lights of no use for night driving. The system relays on radar but the driver relays on visual feedback ... so yes Daimler it will replac the driver, and it is intented to. And for safety .... Why not. The Paris metro system had deriverless trains for ages!
