Just last Thursday I bought the new 13" rMBP (2.9Ghz i5, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD) and while I haven't really used it all too much during the time, it's been pretty flawless so far.
Being a designer + coder, I've been running Sketch and Atom + iTerm 2 and well… no complaints really. Haven't ran Photoshop on it yet as I don't use it for personal work but will have to do it at some point for client work. But I doubt it'll have any problems.
It's an immense upgrade for me, coming from a 2009 15" MBP, which has been an absolute warrior for the past 6 years, but has finally started to show its age. No other inferior laptop would've lasted 6 years, like my MBP did. The only reason I upgraded was cause the CPU can't handle running a Vagrant VBox very well.
So basically - it's more than enough for what your needs are. And it'll be like this for years to come. You might want to upgrade your RAM to 16GB but I personally thought 8GB is more than enough for the time being. I might do it in a few years.
Exactly what I wanted to say after first seeing it. Even if it wasn't a freelancer, it might've been one of their own designers – and even so it all comes down to just one person. TweetDeck or Twitter, as a company, would've had no idea this is a blatant ripoff whichever the case. But it's clear someone's gonna be in deep crap now, deservedly so.
So meta. Redesign of Behance on Behance.
You can still use Apple Display for Windows/Linux, I suppose?
Just as much as you don't need to hear about these kinds of posts, we don't need to hear your moaning about these kinds of posts. Kind of hypocritical, no? Live and let live.
Aaayyyy! Sorry for the mess.
