I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Iron Heart -- they're my winter jeans (21oz is too ridiculous for summer wear). I alternate between those, Momotaros, and APCs for when I don't feel like wearing anything thick. I'm gradually phasing out APC stuff in my closet, though, because of Jean Touitou's ridiculous comments about Chinese people.

Data will humble the crap out of you. A corollary -- a lot of users don't care how good it looks, but rather how it helps them accomplish what they're trying to do.
