The flickering backgrounds a little too intense. Have you considered the usability implications - such as seizure triggers?
In my case, it makes me hate "gamers", and it makes me love games more. It's given me a better perspective on gamers I otherwise wouldn't touch, and a darker perspective on the audiences that consume it.
I've actually been in the games industry as a UI / UX designer for a while.
However this was something I wanted to go into Day One, so I didn't transition. I went to university with a Major in Interactive Design and Game Development, learning experience design, lots of psychology, and of course...making games!
The good thing, or bad (depends how you see it), is its pretty easy to apply conventional app design learning to game design - your still trying to convey information to the user.
What you'd need to do is learn more about game design practices, so start making games and join game jams as this is something most game designers will look out for.
I'd also recommend checking out https://www.youtube.com/user/therevui and others studies of game UI's.

Does it contribute to a discussion. No.
You need to understand this isn't about you though. Neither is every man being targeted and blanketed. However the title is phrased, the intent of this is to make an argument of how common and easy it is for sexist conversations to occur here.
No, it was a dog can't you see?
This is beautiful!
Also, hoping we can keep the comments on this post civil and open minded!

You’re right, it is well done and shows considerable effort. But I still think it’s incredibly important to consider the affects on the audience especially when the affects can have servers repercussions. Any time you have flashing lights is a good example of a moment to consider for one.
I think decreasing the rate of change to the background would suffice in this case
