I meant in terms of where it can be used, MacOS/Windows.
Thanks for the feedback!
I've tried Framer before, very good tool. Only thing worth considering about ProtoPie is that it's multi-platform. I'll just try and use it for few days to see is it/how much is it inferior to proven stuff :)
I can't recall I've seen any these things on live products somewhere, at least illustrations :/
Anyway, that's not the problem here, why do websites promote concepts as "award winning apps"?? I would understand "inspiration" but this is seriously a huge mistake and a lie.
I've seen this on a test before, and I see it's almost the same as then. Anyway, I really can't make myself look at it. This flashy red color just makes everything look the same and harder to read, especially without same image to accompany it. Looks cool, until you try scanning for article titles then it becomes a distraction. Articles are also a bit confusing as well.
I'm sorry this is just my opinion, but it's just too different than the rest of the sites where I read stuff (Medium etc.), probably that's why. Maybe in time I would get used to it, but not sure if I want to...
Tyvm :)
I forgot one small tip as well. Keep an eye on the timing. I am playing a bit with posting in various time zones. Also I stopped using schedule for my shots, because usually the thing I post gets immediately thrown down. Schedules are i.e. 10:00 or 10:30, so I try posting it manually in between those, so it could stay up in recent shots before everyone sinks it again :D
It’s just an experiment but sometimes it may give you some few extra views when it’s fresh, since everything counts :)
Definitely post more often and engage in meaningful commenting and liking other people’s stuff. I also share your pain with followers (even more because I can’t post all the things I design , contracts... :) ).
Btw. Some very nice stuff you got there, followed!
Better to leave the canvas in, it's definitely easier and more consistent for everyone to implement. I'm always going with the second route in my work.
You could stumble upon some small spacing issues if you stack few icons horizontally (in case you have some kind of toolbars with bunch of icons in your design) because of the difference in width of each icon, but it's a lot smaller obstacle than having different heights.
Good to hear! I believe that more advanced prototyping features would make a significant step forward making Xd an 'all-around' platform. Also I'm aware it's quite demanding from software engineering perspective, so it's understandable that it will take awhile to land it.
Thanks again for your reply, and best of luck with the future updates!
Hi. I've been keeping an eye on Xd project since it was released. Must say it looks and feels good, although it's still missing some of the things other tools already have.
My interest in Xd is mainly based on the prototyping capabilities, since it's pretty trivial and expected that there should be some more features available sooner rather than later in the design segment.
My question is will there be more advanced prototyping functionality in the near future?
For example, animating a specific group of objects in the artboard, so that when you make sliding transitions between the screens, some group doesn't animate and the other group slides.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Have in mind that Studio is still in early access and has to prove its worth. Also, I'm not sure how keen are design teams to switch their workflow (again) in the last few years.
As long as this battle of design tools rages on, me (personally) and design team I'm currently a part of isn't really hyped much about any of the tools right now.
Just waiting for the right one to emerge :)
