Under-promise, over-deliver. We love when our expectations are exceeded. You'll also be less inclined to over-extend yourself which can cause designer's block and undue stress.
Very cool app. I watched the first tutorial then jumped in and made a decent master/detail transition in about 20 minutes: http://d.pr/v/1b6OK
Some of the things I like about Principle's approach:
The viewport isn't fixed to any particular device, but is based on the size of your largest artboard. In theory you should be able to prototype for any platform, from watch to digital billboard.
The way transitions work is super intuitive. Copy a layer from one artboard to another and change its appearance; Principle will automatically tween these two states and allow you to fine-tune the transition.
The key-framing interface lets you tune the timing of a number of dimensions (x, y, width, angle, etc.) independently. I wouldn't want to get too precious with fine-tuning animations here (I would do this in Xcode alongside an engineer if possible), but it's nice to have it when you need it.
I really like being able to draw rectangles directly on the canvas without having to import assets. I look forward to using this as a very quick way to test assumptions before getting too invested in a direction.
Techshed is hiring. Bay Area, CA. Remote possible but on-location is preferred.
We build digital products for The Home Depot including Redbeacon (www.redbeacon.com) and the HD Pro apps for iOS and Android, with several new projects in the pipeline. We're looking for an exceptional product designer and UX researcher interested in solving juicy problems in large-scale e-commerce and service design. We prototype constantly and conduct bi-weekly usability sessions with real users to test our assumptions.

Great read. Tightening up brand collateral for a large company like Facebook is no joke.
Really like the photos of the new glyph in random places and formats (book spine, soda can, pizza box!); speaks volumes to the versatility of going one-color.
I only tweet occasionally, but I try to make it good. Usually something related to HCI, game design, philosophy, music and other stuff I think is really cool :)

We're designing a new suite of digital products for The Home Depot. We're growing fast and have several projects underway on web, iOS and Android. You will do great work for that will help millions with a fun, highly-skilled team.
The design team works closely with the research team who conduct semi-weekly usability studies with real users to test new ideas, often in prototype form.
We work closely with engineering (most of us code html/css/js) to make sure implementation is faithful to the vision. We often mock up interaction details in FramerJS or simple flows in Flinto.

I try to only post really good design talks on this Quora blog of mine, Designing the Future: http://designingthefuture.quora.com/

The proposed modularity of the buildings seems like a great idea; campus buildings can be taken apart and re-assembeled in new configurations to better facilitate new, previously unforseen projects like self-driving cars, biotech, etc. It's like Minecraft IRL.

Congrats Colm! Looking forward to trying Plexi out. Was digging what I saw of 'Design Tool' in your occasional tweets about it — looked very austere and intuitive.
