Twist is great. Have been using it with a small team to coordinate events and it's been super nice as a communication tool. It's not overwhelming like Slack, and my colleagues got used to it in no time.

I should also add that it's made by the same people behind Todoist, the To-do and productivity app, so you'll find functional integration with it if you're already using Todoist.

There's a lot more I want to do, like hiding the auto-playing video on the homepage, but I like this so far.

The ones I've used are Relay.fm, Stratechery, Kottke.org, Six Colors, MacStories.

Others I know are Wholesale in a Box and Filmmaker MBA.

Have you tried using Memberful with your current WordPress site? WordPress handles the content, Membership handles your users & memberships and Stripe handles your payments. I've used it briefly in the past and they've been fantastic with the product and their support. Plus I know quite a few sites that happily use Memberful.
