Interesting. Thanks for the info! Definitely don't feel bad about social widgets gone.
I'm on the fence.
In addition to ads, it also blocks all external fonts which sucks as a creative who responsibly uses them.
It also blocks all Deck Network ads which Marco and Gruber both feature on their respective sites and I actually find useful sometimes.

As soon as they integrate Pixelapse, I'll be using it.
Can you buy the rest of Layervault and bring it back to life?
I'd pay real money for it, if it came with support. Always liked the DesignerNews UX better than other offerings out there.
The link language is inconsistent. The color grey is used for both things that are clickable ("Mobile Deposit") and not clickable ("Your Accounts"). The link language needs to be better defined.
Are "Mobile Deposits" and "Transfer & Pay" disabled? Grey typically indicates inactive states.
What if I have four accounts like on the "Before" screen? Your layout would push Mortgages off the bottom of the screen (or behind your two footer buttons). Harder to see all accounts at a glance. Business Customers and more affluent customers tend to have many, many accounts (mortgages, CDs, IRAs, loans, etc).
A left-aligned column of values is harder to compare than a right-aligned/decimal-aligned column. Look at any paper receipt, values are always decimal-aligned.
Great start on the layout.

I wish I knew the problems the problems that caused Layervault to go under. They canceled their Enterprise product at the exact moment we had gotten management approval to purchase it.
I don't know any creative shop that wouldn't benefit from dead simple file/folder syncing and versioning.

Have feedback?
Dropbox purchased Pixelapse (the Layervault competitor) a while back, so (in theory) Dropbox will be introducing versioning with previews and other designer-specific tools.
Another cool thing is that Dropbox has LAN-sync priority. So if you're syncing files will a team member in the same building it will send files across the room instead of up to a remote server and back down.
