Posted to Why ‘Intuitive’ Interface Is A Myth, Jun 13, 2014 If we're using the word 'intuitive' the way you've described, striving 'above all else to make your interface feel intuitive' is not only bad practice but likely impossible. In developed societies we learn new behaviours starting from birth, and by the time we're independent what feels 'intuitive' can be completely different. The word intuitive isn't a myth, it still applies, it is just based on an improved media literacy.
