I agree. Well said!
The hamburger menu is a crutch for apps that were built without a true mobile content strategy in place.
The one other thing to consider is that the 'Responsive Design' movement meant that desktop content had to also work in mobile view which is kind of like fitting a square peg into a round hole. I believe this is also part of the reason why complexity creeped into some apps. (LinkedIn is a good example.)
The smart thing to do is get some user research and usability testing done and devise the content strategy around that, accommodating context.
Have you tried Paintcode? http://www.paintcodeapp.com/
You can do Variables and Expressions. It even works with Swift.
How do you organize your folder structure? I'm curious and always looking to learn from others!
Thats what I was wondering about. If I read correctly, the current WatchKit SDK can only function as an extension of an iPhone app. Does this mean that it'll only run Watch apps that are tethered to the user's existing iPhone apps? (iPhones are required to be within distance in order for apps to function...) Can Watch apps be separate from and function independently from iPhone apps?
My questions aside, this is nice work!
I completely missed the "Download on the App Store" badge. Maybe try reversing it out or improving the contrast somehow?
Best, BG
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Are the videos close captioned/subtitled? If not, they should be.
"It’s also been a poorly kept secret for some time now that Apple has a set of its own advanced prototyping tools. Rumored to be called “Mica,” it’s a tool Apple created for its UI designers to craft interactive interfaces more easily. Mica is allegedly Quartz Composer’s internal replacement, and has been used to create everything from interfaces to Final Cut Pro plugins. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mica had a role to play in the creation of iOS 7 and 8."
The above quote is the best I could find for you. http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/09/19/prototyping-for-better-products-stronger-teams-and-happier-clients/
Hope this helps.
