It's been awesome to see the impact that one event has had on our community in Madison. It's a blast to design on a team with people you don't normally work with for the day and I've built some great friendships through this event. So excited for you Abby and I hope more cities get to experience Design Like Mad!

It only goes out once a month and it usually has some helpful Front End tips & tricks as well as some similar stuff to what you'd find on DN.

Posted to Ask DN: What is a mentor?, Feb 26, 2015 I'm in a mentorship program right now through AIGA as a mentee. They're saying that a mentor is a designer with 6+ years of experience that is willing to invest in less experienced designers. Obviously the level of experience is relative. They've just chosen 6+.

I like the AIGA Job board. Design Observer has a nice one as well (supplied by Coroflot). Coroflot has a lot of jobs on it but I don't know how many people use it. Art Director's Club has a job board that might be more suited to the position you're looking for: http://adcglobal.org/jobs/
