When I see posts like this I always think of the parable of the two towns...

A traveler came upon a farmer working in his field and asked him what the people in the next village were like. The farmer asked "What were the people like in the last village you visited?" The traveler responded "They were kind, friendly, generous, great people." "You'll find the people in the next village are the same," said the farmer. Another traveler walking to the same village came up to the same farmer somewhat later and asked him what the people in the next village were like. Again the farmer asked "What were the people like in the last village you visited?" The second traveler responded, "They were rude, unfriendly, dishonest people." "You'll find the people in the next village are the same," said the farmer.

Maybe I havent frequented DN enough to comment on the social climate but it would be a shame for people to abandon it because of a few obnoxious individuals.

Looks good. Instead of a pause and start button you can just click anywhere on the screen or pushing space starts and stops the clock. Background could change color to signify "started" and "paused." the background could change to red when time is almost out.

Definitely needs some alarm sound when time is out.

also, there's a reproducible bug that if you max out the time by holding the plus and then hold the minus until the time drops under 1:30, the clock goes haywire and the page needs to be refreshed. Dunno if people would actually do that but just letting you know.
