I mostly follow rad illustrators and these are some of my favorites:
@jamesillustrated @majasbok @alena.tkach @lrtvri
... and I'm: @leaveastory
I allow myself to work on personal projects a few hours every day. I used to get stressed out when work was piling up and I didn't have time for any excess designing but including private project-time in my everyday schedule did the trick for me. To me, my own projects are equally important as commission work.
I'd like one as well, please!

I don't know if it qualifies but I made a find five faults-advent calendar for my fiveyearold nephew:
I have a friend who's recently started CrossFit and it sure seems to be an awesome community where everyone looks out for and encourages one another. Maybe this is where I get the 'team-feeling' without having to be in an actual sports team.

Setting up a schedule was probably the best thing I've done for my freelancing self. My unorganized mess of tasks often left me paralyzed and apathetic but once I made dedicated room for all of my desired accomplishments I got much more effective and calm.
The hardest part is the lunch walk. At least on days like yesterday when it rained sideways.
