Hello Christian, good points about 'useless'. The product is called 'Slingshot' and our product is live over at www.useslingshot.com. I'm being very careful not to promote here on Designer News yet as we are still in closed beta. So for now we are just wanting to get basic info as we are nearing the end of the beta and are now going forward with pricing models, scalability, etc. The data we obtained from the survey was incredibly helpful. But yes, as you said - we were being vague. It was all intentional. Thanks for the good feedback and check out the site when you get some time.

Thanks Sanja - exactly what we are looking for. The data definitely is broad but we didn't want potential 'users' spending 15 minutes on the form, so instead we tried to get as much information as possible (even if broad), in 60 seconds. Thanks for clarifying for Cristian!

Ha, we definitely were looking for a target demographic for our application, and yes we were being intentionally vague and broad as to capture as much general information as possible. We had 300+ responses so I think a great number of people understood what we were trying to accomplish.

Unfortunately it's not a simple task manager. The requirements asked for as much info as could fit on the screen at once. It's actually a strategic planning app that you are seeing the 'task management' portion for. I agree with you. Definitely trying to slim it down as much as possible. Definitely something I researched haha. Good thing is completely different execution, their app is dead, and ours means 'Gravity Assist' (space term) :)

Good call. I'll play around with the differences so that it is more apparent. I'm not colorblind either so definitely something to keep in consideration.
