This is great for all of us who are not designers by training or trade. I used a lot of these principles when redesigning https://pageproofer.com

Interesting idea. I'm 100% with you on the idea of killing screenshots and marked up docs to tell designs/developers what is wrong with a web page. I'm not sure it helps though when the person who spots the issue has no idea how to fix.

I attacked that same problem for a different angle. I developed an app that gets embedded on a website and allows people to add "sticky notes" when they spot a problem right on the page. Other users get notified instantly about the issue so they can fix it and important info about browser/screen size/device gets added to the note. The notes are pinned to specific page elements so they move as the element moves on the page (great for responsive websites). Checkout https://pageproofer.com to see how it works.

This is a service that I launched a few years ago but just recently overhauled the entire marketing site.

It allows designers and developers to leave feedback about content changes, issues and bugs right on a website. No more back and forth emails with clients, tracking items in a spreadsheet or using complicated bug trackers. Just spot an issue, click and leave some feedback.

Trello and JIRA (Atlassian's flagship) are two very different products aimed at two very different markets. There is a little cross over in the 'boards' but nothing that would suggest Trello gets pulled into JIRA. In all likelihood Atlassian lets Trello keep running as it has, it gives them a wider appeal for project management, from simple lists and cards to full blown issue and project management. The two products I think compliment each other. IMO Atlassian has done a pretty good job of making their services and products better considering how complex they are. I use JIRA and Bitbucket on a very regular basis and both are better than many competing services.
