This is a great idea. I've been looking for a similar plugin as our team has struggled with this in the past.

Being able to adjust type styles based on artboard width would be incredibly handy as our team uses Text Styles religiously :)

Would you look to provide an option to create new breakpoint variants of an existing Text Style? Eg. Going from Small/Body/C-align/Normal on a Small device width, to a Large Device width and suggesting Large/Body/C-align/Normal or something to that effect?

Initially I found FontFinder hugely useful throughout the rebranding process of a Patterns and Standards library I'm currently working on. Although the issue I had with it is that it only works on a Page level. To update fonts throughout an entire document, you might find more value in using Fontily, which I've recently moved to.

I'd love to see what this site is all about, but so far all I'm getting is http://snag.gy/p2qXO.jpg - the SVG/CSS/JS resources aren't loading in NZ. Feeling quite undervalued right now :(

If you're looking for an automated approach, I'd recommend using a JavaScript Task Runner like Grunt. It's a bit of a learning curve but once you've got the system in place you'll never want to do things any other way. There's LESS/CSS + JS minification/concatenation, Image/SVG minification and more. If you have the time it's really worth the hour or so it takes to get up and running.

Gotta agree with Nick H! WP can be a bit heavy for sure, but as Nick suggested, Roots is a great starting point. I've also used HTML5Blank in the past. I came from a design school background and over the last couple of years have been moving into development roles so I can appreciate the learning curve you're experiencing. That said, Genesis Framework isn't a bad look as it has a lot of built in hooks that allow you control placement of elements, as well as a very straightforward way to build page templates and custom widget areas. It's still a Child Theme approach, but you can go crazy with it :) Hope this helps.
