Just a general related question - any thoughts on using a JS framework like React/Angular/Vue over a static generator? Would there be any performance differences?

I know these would be more complex, but is there anything these could offer for a portfolio that a static site generator couldn't?

Thanks all. I've been looking into SPA's for a while, due to the UX advantages these can offer. Am I right in believing that SEO is no longer an issue, with SSR and google being able to execute JS on SPA's now?
