Design by coding is actually multi-tasking, and humans are not very good at that. And coding itself is multi-tasking. Add design on top, and you're done.

Posted to Atom - A hackable text editor for the 21st Century by GitHub, Feb 27, 2014 There's lots of things that editors like these could potentially do. Haven't checked Brakets just yet, but I know for sure that I'd love me some CoffeScript debugging and direct Sass editing in the inspector.
Unexpected behaviours don't always create frustration. Frustration comes much after the user tries a couple of times.
On the contrary, there's this initial impulse of curiosity, which if handled consciously by the designer, it'll create a pleasant surprise.
