If big pixels are bothering you, then the Dell U2515H could be a really good option. It's the same resolution of the (non-retina) iMac 27", but at 25" which feels a lot crisper, and its still a comfortably large screen, especially if you're coming from 22"

Who knows if they don't have an ARM version of OS X already, as research — just like with the PowerPC to Intel switch.

Really good site — but it's let down by how the screenshots don't reflect the actual app, which has that distinct cross-platform-build feel.
