I always wondered why we don't see more of the many useful tools from CAD applications, make it into design software like Sketch or Illustrator, when we so often are performing tasks and actions, that could greatly benefit from them.
So looking forward to trying this, and like the mentality you guys carry!
How can multiple people have issues with old files? Does the Sketch team not check their release version on previous/older files themselves (especially the areas in which are related to changes), before they release an update? Sorry to be so negative, but it's constantly the same reaction I read about these updates...
So we can no longer use center align, to find the center of multiple selected objects? :( What the new align change does, is something I could already do before...if I wanted to.
Speaking of "accessibility" the price on this new 15" MacbookPro is not accessible to me right now :(
I think you need to try it again, after most of the issue you mention has been fixed, and features you are missing has been implemented.
Zoom level not 100%? XY positioning changed. You mind sharing the file so the rest of us can see if we experience the same issue?
The new symbols functionality is poorly designed. Sorry, but it is, and the critique it has gotten is to be expected. For one, you can't modify a symbol in context (change the design of it while looking at where it is used), because you view is moved away from current artboard and onto the Symbols page when you edit the symbol. Just the point that you are moved away from where you are currently working, and onto another page, when really you want to stay and work on what is in front of you, is an unexpected behaviour and a bad design decision. I like that you can an overview of all your symbols via the Symbols Page, but this workplace and method of working, quickly becomes messy and requires additional effort that we could have been without.
You should put it on Sketch Toolbox!
