TBH I think the site does everything it needs to. Yeah it's not exactly pretty, but that's likely a design choice to make the ugliness of the flag even more prominent.

This is a great example of how to give a talk on design. No one can get caught up in personal taste during this talk, the key design goals are able to be communicated very clearly and in a fun way.

Looks interesting. Your mockups are all with an iPhone, and your beta sign up doesn't ask which mobile OS a person is using. Is your beta limited to iOS users or can Android users also sign up?

Also, playing in the background music was rather annoying! And stretched on my monitor the video wasn't the best resolution.

    A pretty homepage.

But why do I need to sign up to try the app? If there is a free version, why can't I play and sign up to save? The current landing page gives me no idea how the UI works, how powerful it is etc. I'm not going to give out my email address to find out - especially as there are no signs of any T&Cs that tell me what you're going to use my information for or the privacy of the content etc.

Also please add hover and click states to your buttons.

Every time Facebook redesign something people react within 2 minutes of seeing it and decide it's bad - and then build an extension to "fix it". I think the latest version of the News Feed makes it a lot simpler to follow, the content is better delimited and the overall aesthetic has improved.
