This website is very beautiful but holy shit just let me scroll normally.
They made a whole post about it, but didn't include an image. At least they have two different videos... neither of which have the new masthead as the thumbnail.
Pivot to video...I guess?
$8 is a nice sandwich. Or a couple of half decent pens. Or a big stack of post-it notes.
When I want one of these things to help with my work, I don't think twice. So why is it such a big deal that a small add-on to a tool most of us use for hours a day costs $8?
Based on tweets, it looks like the new F1 stuff was art directed by this guy: http://tmthyl.uk/ who has done some pretty awesome forward looking branding before. Pretty excited about how brave the new F1 brand is!
Interesting that this has 8 upvotes despite the page being broken...
Cool, I love seeing nice phone mocks like this!
However... the corner radii are too tight and not round enough! Especially along the top and bottom edges, this mock has gently curved lines where the original iPhone has straight sections and nearly circular corners, with only a small area of transition to maintain curvature continuity between straight and curved areas.
It's a subtle difference but an important one!
This is one of the best case studies I've ever seen. Not too much text, but enough to tell the story, lay out the rationale, and connect all the wonderful images.

Love the typography. Sectra looks really great next to the giant chunky headlines
