Cheers Anthony
Thanks—will do!
Is it not possible that making a feature harder to find, and seeing it on all your friends phones, makes the app more desirable? And the marketing achieved by that word of mouth has been incredible, the fact that it's in this lineup says it all.
I'd say that not every feature has to be transparently declared by the UI, context is everything friends.
Unfortunately not... I've just ended up using a mix of Sketch and InDesign. If you find anything let me know!
OK, so I exaggerated. He clearly mentions he thinks that. But the bulk of the post (i.e. warning signs 1-4, the conclusion, and a large part of the intro) is basically saying these guys dont seem to be in a position to follow through.
The author isn't saying what they're setting out to do is impossible, at all—he's just saying that all signs point to this company not doing it, and saying they are.
Hey Kai! Absolutely love the magazine, thanks for that.
I know the visual style of the magazine has developed through the issues, particularly in the most recent one, but a question about your general aesthetic drivers:
Could you shine some light on how you arrived at your visual language from the concept you started with? And do you find it hard to keep that language consistent—any tips on how you've managed that?
Cheers!
It's too late...
