Use alt="", which is exactly what you need. They don't show up for user, like titles, and they describe the content for search engines.

We just released a UI Kit for Messenger Bots and we fully took advantage of those new Symbols in 3.7. I must say that it feels pretty great in UI Kit, because you can easily change all those things in just one place. I'm pretty happy with this update, I didn't even experience the bug with opening files.

I've coded a portfolio for my friend Tomas (designer) and I've decided to go with Jekyll hosted on GitHub Pages. It was a good choice as it is free, fast to setup and he can edit his website right on GitHub without having a deep knowledge of git or anything. Whole website is based on a simple config file.

For bigger projects I use KeystoneJS. It's basicly the "Wordpress" of node.js world. It involves a little bit of programming, but in return, it generates whole Administration just from models you define and that is a huge time-saver. I used that for our Mockuuups website and it powers everything there (product listings, blog, mailing, payment processing, back office…)

To sum this up: Jekyll on GitHub is a perfect choice for small landing pages without much interactivity for clients that are not scared of editing something looking like a code. CMS (even some simple one) seems like a sane option if the client is not much tech-savvy or if the project needs some logic on server and has certain amount of data that will be impractical to keep outside of database.

It kinda surprised me, but system notifications actually work out of box in my app. You just need to go to settings of Messenger and turn them on :)

It's a nice side effect of using well-maintained wrapper for web app such as Electron from GitHub

I made an unofficial wrapper and it is pretty useful indeed :) It lacks classic system notifications, although sound notifications work well enough.

  • Posted to How to open Sketch designs on Windows, in reply to Tom Gantzer , Nov 12, 2014

From technical point of view it looks like they will never move to Windows unless they do a complete rewrite of whole app and file format. Most of things in Sketch use native Mac technologies and frameworks that just can't be ported.

From (Google translated) blogpost on the site, I assume that the author of plugin bought our and didn't liked it and made it's own version lacking most of features.
