Yeah, Blink. As someone said in the HN thread, "it's basically Chrome with a different UI" :)
Vivaldi is based on the Chrome rendering engine.
It depends from the environment you're used to work in: Ruby has a 2-space tab convention, which becomes consistent (which is the main point here) across the entire project when working with Rails.
I was having an hard time reading it – that black on red is a little bit too much (at least on my MBP screen). But I see the reference now, so yeah, you're right about playing around :)
