Indeed. I just wanted to see what sort of meetups of any kind were near me and that was hard to get to.

Nobody claimed it was their job. Antonia brought up an issue. Jrtorrents Dorman asked for clarification in an attempt to better understand her viewpoint. One would think that would generally be a good way of trying to arrive at a solution or at the very least, a way to engage meaningful discussion about a perceived problem.

No matter how correct you think you are, if you won't explain your problem to others trying to understand it, progress is unlikely to be made.

    "a picture"

    That's quite a misrepresentation.

    "Women's opinions aren't respected."

    "What's your opinion?"

"Whoa, I'm not here to educate you."

That is absolutely absurd. This site starts out only with his name, no pictures of him, and then jumps right into various projects. He's got only one faded picture of him near the bottom.

Is your comment simply sarcasm and I'm just not picking up on it, perhaps?

I agree with the gist of your comment. But there is certainly be some graphic design and illustration that focuses primarily on something people use. (e.g. instruction manuals, wayfinding, directories, medical and technical illustration, etc.) But yeah, I think on the whole industrial design is a bit 'harder'.

Indeed. Most of the time I feel like chat is just annoying and slows me down. I just want to put in all my information in one go without all the back and forth.

My favorite Reddit app is definitely Relay.

For TV I'm trying out SeriesGuide instead of TVShow Time for Trakt integration.

And Solid Explorer is a good file manager.

I'd imagine the effect could be done with some white strokes.
