I'd be more interested if the sites looked nice. The Grid's site and blog look like they were auto generated : /
Not sure I don't own any devices without a camera :/
Thanks Joe great post! I'm looking for something I can use for all the instances you mentioned. I love sketching but need a way to share the flows, and attach image to specific modules within a flow.
Hello all!
I'm trying to find a good flow chart mapping tool. MindNode is the best thing so far... just wondering what everyone else uses.
Thanks!
I use http://appear.in It works really well and integrates with slack https://slack.com/apps/A0F7YS1JP-appearin
The only downside is the video calls only work in Chrome.
Hope that helps!
Hey Ryan!
From my perspective interaction design is a little more general than product design.
I recently took an "interaction design" position because I wanted to be more of a generalist and learn more about the cognitive sciences and how those apply to a person interacting with technology.
Here is a great article that talks more about it. http://www.uxbooth.com/articles/complete-beginners-guide-to-interaction-design/
I like circular because most interfaces are constructed with a really structured rectangular grid. Circles naturally stand out in an environment like that.
Also, I think just looking better is a valid reason. if implementation difficulty was a good reason to not change, we would never have any progress.
Totally agree, I love that its set apart from the rounded smooth curves of the other icons : )

Beautiful site... great resource. I noticed they use San Fransisco for the typeface. I think that violates Apple's license. Does anyone know?
