I got around this for my team: I used the OSX color picker, saved a palette, then dumped the .CLS file in Username/Library/Colors and then in Sketch go to Window>Show Colors, with the color window open choose Color Palettes, on the palettes line on the far right is a gear icon with a dropdown, choose new in the dropdown and navigate to the folder with the .CLS file.

Not as nice as having global palettes, but if you have to share a palette with a team this will work.

You ask for quantifiable data, yet the reason there is none is because women don't report this behavior for fear of backlash. Every time women do talk about this issue, men like you crawl out of the woodwork to tell them why they're wrong.

There's no argument to be made, sexism exists in tech. Sexism exists in funding. Failing to recognize this is a choice you can make because you have male privilege.

First, don't try to dismiss anyone who disagrees with you as a "radical" feminist. Women still earn 33 cents less on the dollar than men, so it's not radical to be angry about this.

Second, I said men can't represent a woman's experiences, or say that something common for women must not exist because it hasn't happened to you, a man, which is entirely different. These are ways men commonly dismiss women and you refuse to accept that you are actively participating in this behavior.

Two of the most common ways men silence women:

"Well I have a wife / mother / sister / daughter so I get to speak on behalf of women's experiences"

"I haven't seen this happen firsthand, therefore it must not be widespread."

    Check your privilege.

I know a lot of women founders who would disagree with you, you're not in the position to speak to what a woman's experience getting funding is like.

A woman pointing out that she's experienced discrimination is NOT victimizing oneself.

"That’s one of the biggest challenges for women in terms of speaking up: the amount of hatred that comes out online towards women who complain about certain types of treatment"

You are part of the problem: men trying to erase and diminish women's experiences. There's nothing "radical" or "victimizing" about speaking to an issue when you are asked to do so.

I get the vibe this person has never had to build something requiring personalization before.

I am so saddened by her experiences, and yet not at all surprised men have elevated her troll as some kind of folk hero. As a culture, we're really great at sweeping abuse under the rug, we give people like Mike Tyson cameos in movies because hey, nostalgia, that doesn't have anything to do with abuse! And yet every time we do that, we give people more power to abuse.

I can't help but think internet communities that allow anonymity will never be a safe place for anyone but straight men.
