    I've used it for a branding project so far. I used Illustrator/PS previously then switched almost all of my work to Sketch.

    One thing I did notice from using Affinity is the number of extra clicks it takes to perform actions in comparison to Sketch.

    Sketch is excellent because they threw the traditional Adobe style UI completely out the window and started from scratch, and although that took a bit of getting used to, it did greatly simplify a lot of tasks.

    Affinity on the other hand seem to be sticking a bit closer to Illustrators UI and then improving on that. An example being the Fill/Stroke droplets. This stuff is clunky in my opinion:

    Affinty

    I'm torn, Affinity is incredibly powerful and is more feature rich in the drawing/vector tools department, but I miss a lot of the UI simplifications in Sketch.

    Sketch is also definitely more suited for screen design at the moment with the ability to measure between objects on the fly.

    If Bohemian Coding bought Affinity, or the other way round, that would make a killer competitive suite to the Adobe apps.

    • Sketch - Web & UI
    • Designer - Illustration & Print
    • Photo - Photo editing & composition

    Should individual padding/margin declarations be shortened?

    e.g. margin-top: 10px;margin-right: 9px;margin-bottom: 8px;margin-left: 7px;

    convert to: margin: 10px 9px 8px 7px;

    Hijacking a bit here, but can someone give me a simple breakdown of some real-world use cases for JS frameworks? Perhaps stuff you've built with them?

    I design and develop a lot of websites for small to medium business that vary in functionality and read a lot about Ember, Angular etc. but just don't see where they fit into the products I build. Can't tell whether they're not intended for what I'm doing or whether I just don't understand them fully?

    Has anyone used both Git Tower and SourceTree? I use SourceTree daily, just wondering how the two compare and whether it's worth the extra $$?

    I actually like it and think it's a good step for them. Friendly, less corporate, a much better fit especially if they're moving into retail / mobile payments.
