Hi - author here. Yes, yet another grid system! However, the idea behind Avalanche is not to be an ‘all things to all men’ framework but to do one thing really well - grid layouts.

Headline features:

• No duplication of selectors. 1/2 == 2/4 so don’t print the same percentage twice
• You set which widths you’ll use so your outputted CSS is incredibly efficient
• Real-world breakpoint names with widths based common devices, not just 1024x768
• Integrated media query mixin so your media queries are better connected to your grid layout
• It’s just one file!

I guess his reasoning is to retain some kind of exclusivity for his subscribers. Whether or not you agree with that, OP is being pretty disrespectful to Tobias by flagrantly copy-pasting it here.

Also worth mentioning that their iPhone app is superb.

The Xero iOS app (and I assume Android app also) allows you to take photos and attach them to expense claims you're entering. It doesn't have number recognition to fill in the boxes but the process works well in my experience.

Highly recommend Xero

• Integrates with UK bank accounts (so you get an automatic feed) in your Xero account allowing super easy bank reconciliation
• Excellent reporting (balance sheet, profit/loss etc)
• iOS app (including expense reporting)
• Beautiful UI (which they are constantly improving)
• Integrates with other services such as Harvest

My accountant (a Xero partner) has access so come year-end, he can login and export my near fully-prepped accounts ready to send to Companies House meaning I save money on accountancy fees.

Xero as a business is also very profitable, backed by Peter Thiel, publicly traded at a $1bn+ valuation and with over 1000 employees so the service isn't going to disappear any time soon.

I've tried out Mailbox, Airmail, Unibox, Postbox and Inky in the past but always find myself heading back to Sparrow. Despite no updates in nearly three years, I still find it to be the best interface and I still haven't seen a better implementation of the Alt+R quick reply.
