I'm completely mesmerized by the color scheme thing. How did they do it? Is this a palette? How could I achieve this myself?
I've had my iPhone 4 since it came out; never had a case. I've enjoyed the look and feel of the actual phone the whole time.
I don't have a case, and I don't want to have to use one. I'm not buying a phone made of glass and aluminium so that I can put it in a rubber tube.
I think they chose function over form, actually.
With rounded corners it would sit more comfortably inside of a pocket (can't make any promises for the new iPhone JUMBO—I mean 6), and the plastic components around the edges of the panels are probably to maximize signal reception. Remember the issue with the antennae in the iPhone 4? It was because of the materials they used, and I figure that's why all of its descendants have had more plastic components.
That said, I don't think I'll be buying another iPhone if and until they can recall what had once made Apple the wealthiest company in the world: an uncompromising devotion to the user-experience. They made an iPhone four years ago that fit comfortably in a human hand and had pixels that were microscopic to the human eye; I don't see why we need x-teen million more pixels and a two-inch bigger display, unless we're forgetting about the human being holding it, touching it and looking at it.
Introducing the iPhone 6. The first iPhone designed for the exclusive purpose of reducing Samsung's market share.
