Additional thoughts to improve process—when filing a design"bug" ticket, I use the opportunity to also educate them on design by explaining the rationale for the request (consistency, hierarchy, etc.) This would ideally reduce the same bugs from happening.

haha yes! Same paragraph stood out to me. Kudos to them for trying to go against this—people are just so used to news being free, will be tough to strike a balance.
