Same bad feelings for Figma in our office. Starting with the name (in German it sounds like 'Fuck Sometimes'). The general UI is not really appealing to our designers and it seems somewhat dull.

We still love the combination of Sketch + Zeplin. Especially after the disappointing releases of Invision Studio & Framer X

I guess it's a route towards everything ** touch**.

Still … Smaller companies put so much more love in their Apps and Visuals, just because they are young and hungry. The self-celebrating trillion dollar company Apple, once different, is now an old, rich man with a heart-sensor and needs a complete new generation of executives.

I was also super excited for the dark mode but now I am really disappointed about how it actually looks. It seems more like a 'color-invert mode'. But making a dark-colored UI needs more than just making the background black and the fonts white (talking to you Mail-App). I mean you could probably see this coming as Apple has kind of lost its ❤️ for the details in a lot of areas…

But where is the $ going? I've read a review by The Verge this morning and they say Apple is secretly working on a totally new and evolutionary iOS+MacOS and therefore letting things down for current OSes.

Looks like a handy tool for images, videos & documents. But as it is not possible to access my computer-file-system, I am forced to save a .sketch file (for example) and drag (duplicate) it into the app. This feels like having two separate file-systems which is never a good thing.

Personally, I really like the phones designs. While Apple & Samsung headed more in a flashy-luxurious-racecar direction, this one seems more clean, Scandinavian and like a practical, soft tool. But sadly Android (and the whole Material-UI) is a downer for me. Give that phone 3 weeks and it is filled with garbage-apps, full caches, adverts and other 3rd-party-stuff. Simplicity should also be found in your OS. And as long as Google as well as Microsoft don't make big steps towards better OS'es, I stay a prisoner of the worse hardware-stuff by Apple :/

Most people I have talked to say the same: Looks like a 6/10 design-university chaos from 8 years ago. Use of colors and fonts are straight from 2007. Has anyone of you a good alternative for me? I instantly want to quit my subscription.

i am also not sure what you could mean with 'design manager'. maybe sth. like a stlye-guide-tool? frontify would be one of those. Or the craft-plugin's library? craft

You should put in a beepy sound after the timer runs out. And also a flashy tab-blinking.
