I'm not convinced it would bring more dissatisfaction than advantages. Keep in mind that right now the 1/8" headphone jack forces a lower-bound on the thinness of phones. If Apple wants to go any thinner than the iPhone 5 (without having a bump out like some Android phones do) they're going to need to remove the headphone jack.
Lightning also brings advantages for wireless headphones since both audio and charging can go through the same cable. Headphones dead? Just plug them into your phone and keep listening while picking up a charge.
Also, Apple could fairly easily make Beats headphones support both 1/8" devices and lightning devices by making the cord detachable at the headphone and selling both an 1/8" cord and lightning cord.
4 bit binary watch from Cadence (now on closeout for only $20):
+1 for a trial. The space you're in is littered with products that claim to solve this problem but fall flat. I simply can't afford to pay-to-try every bookmark management product, but if I tried one and loved it I would happily pay double.
Sequel Pro.
