Posted to Figma now has Overlays, Dec 03, 2018 Posted to Does not having proper offline access hinder your experience as a Figma user?, Jun 22, 2018 Hey there Dan, Niko from Figma here, the current workaround we recommend a lot of people is that once you load a file you can work offline. It will sync the document back once you're connected again.
So if you know that you're heading to the train, load the file in the desktop app or the browser and you can work on it w/o connection.
We don't recommend it right now for files where a lot of people have access because multiple people could change the same file and when not syncing instantly is very hard to sync properly afterwards.

If you're just looking at offline sessions like in the train or the airplane, open the file beforehand. Then you can edit this file offline.

Right now you can't apply styles to background colors of frames. It's something we'd love to do but haven't been able to implement it yet.
Rounded Corners can't be managed globally. If you're using components for buttons you can override the elements in those buttons with your Styles.

There is an extension that uses our read api but I haven't tested it in detail. https://figma-pdf.gweltaz-calori.com/
