Besides the ones already provided (which are awesome! I just organized my screens and set up some awesome widgets.) I like to use Jot! for quick note taking.
It has a great widget to for when you need to quickly make a grocery list, write down a phone number, or organize what you and your friends are ordering at sushi!

I'd say Ai is going to be your best friend. I still find the control it gives you with paths and basic things like rotating and creating new shapes is still superior to Sketch. I'm preferential as it's the first tool I ever used but I do all my icon/logo design in Ai and then copy finished work into Sketch for use on all collateral.
