Posted to Ask DN: Have you had success getting clients from Dribbble?, Aug 22, 2014 I have no intentions in hijacking this thread (with all the Dribbble invite shenanigans)-- Dribbble has been an amazing resource for me --having provided me a year of freelancing in the comfort of my own home with pleasant compensation.
Many of the folks here are right in saying that you must weed out those who spam inboxes in desperation for a quick million -- you'll probably read the cardboard as well as you could taste it. Take caution and be brave... don't be hustled into compensation that doesn't align with your value -- shoot for the stars and they might surprise you back.
On another note, I have three invites to Dribbble. If you would like to be drafted, please give me a link to your portfolio (that shines on your talent; I don't want to hunt your work down through a series of click-throughs :-).
