Hey, Jon. We're working on an epub and PDF version. Stay tuned.
Appreciate the kind words, Josh. Hope the book proves useful.
We're seeing a lot of growth in design teams. Just a couple of years ago teams tended to be 5 to 10 people, but today teams of 50, 60, or 100+ are common even in companies in more conservative market sectors.
When teams get that big entropy emerges. Designers spend most of their time in meetings, syncing with other teams, doing administrative things, and doing a lot less designing.
To help designers get back to the craft that got them hired design teams are spinning up DesignOps functions that improve operations on a team and project level.
We've just published the DesignOps Handbook on DesignBetter.Co written by Dave Malouf (IxDA co-founder), Meredith Black (Pinterest), Collin Whitehead (Dropbox), and Kate Battles (Fitbit) to help more teams get their bearings with this new discipline.
Is DesignOps already in place in your company? Is it on your radar? Would love to hear your perspective.
Thanks, Josh. Hope it proves useful to you.
Sorry that scared you off as there're a lot of useful insights in there.
We hear you, and appreciate you patience, Josh. As you might expect, Studio is a big product, and we want to make sure we ship our best work. We've gotten lots of support in the design community with early testing and helpful feedback. It's helped us refine greatly.
Studio is coming soon, and we hope you find it useful in your design practice!
Hi, David. Would love to learn more. Just DMed you on Twitter with details to kick off the conversation.
I agree without just need to hire more designers. Developing your own pattern library/design system can help your current designers work more efficiently.
Writing about your research process and findings are a great way to show your skills. If you can, write about how your research affected the product and use experience.

After a year of new research and writing, I've just released the second edition of my book Designing for Emotion. The book helps readers learn to design beyond delight, for all emotions customers bring to your products and websites. New ideas for new times.
"We’ve seen by now that digital experiences not only delight and empower people, but can also destroy and depress them. Aarron’s reboot addresses these darker concerns while still exhibiting the unfettered optimism he’s brought to the intersection of creative expression and business. High five, Aarron!"

Hope the book proves useful to your design practice.
