I hate this solution. It means the keyboard is flickering all the time which is really distracting. Not to mention that since the baselines are aligned, half of the lowercase letters are off-center.
Based on this image from apple.com, the screen is actually a bit smaller than that. (Assuming the Photos.app is fullscreen.)

Why would this be US-only?
Could you elaborate? I almost feel the opposite: I like the icon, but I’ve found the UI to have a bunch of questionable design decisions. (For example the real-time EQ bar on everything, the show notes screen, the gesture that brings it up, some font weights or the animation from the miniplayer to the now playing screen)
Well, someone created a fake Federighi account which started off pretty convincing. I guess he's now using it to make fun of iOS 7's icons.
Shame, because the screenshots look much better.
