  • Posted to What are the best non-design books that designers should read?, Nov 27, 2016

Fountain Head A long read but the fight between "success" and one's true design self took me on a rollercoaster of emotions and spoke to me on many levels of entrepreneurial, business, moral, and design parts of my own life.

"before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the secondary consequences. The work, not the people. Your own action, not any possible object of your charity. I'll be glad if people who need it find a better manner of living in a house I designed. But that's not the motive of my work. Nor my reason. Nor my reward."

Then to take care of all fringe case scenarios it's optimum to have it in place, thanks for the clear response! Was struggling with a counter as to not having it in, but this clearly defines why to add it in.

  • Posted to Front App: Be amazed by emails, again. (Collaborative Inbox), Jan 29, 2014

Got to test out the app, if you want I can add you to a fake inbox I use for testing if can't wait to see post beta.

Biggest hinderance is sometimes I like heading back into Gmail to handle things as it's also connected to personal and how that interacts with the app with the collaborative inbox can get cloudy.

If you use the app natively and discipline it to be the course for the company its a very very very impressive tool for shared inboxes

Kiddology just launched on Kickstarter - http://kck.st/1ceV5j3 - besides connecting families together one of their mandates is to help creatives, artists, moms, dads, kids, and everyone create well illustrated books without knowing how to code for iPad.
