I use Refind. It's simple, well designed, and has save, "read later", and tagging features. They also have a little neat community on their actual website. Oh yeah, they also have iOS and Android apps too.
Same here. I used to use all Windows computers and laptops and bought the late 2016 15" Touchbar MBP and love it. As a developer, I can't see myself going back to Windows unless I build a desktop
Doesn't really help with my desk setup, but definitely helps my well-being: A large (40oz or 64oz) Hydroflask or any other stainless steel insulated bottle, with a lot of ice. Keeps water ice-cold all day and keeps me hydrated!
I use Feedly + Muzli's chrome extension: https://muz.li/
I frequent Designer News, Product Hunt, Reddit (/r/Frontend /r/javascript /r/webdev /r/webdesign), Hashnode as well as Hacker News. I also use the Musli extension and have created a Feedly collection to aggregate many different webdev sites. I don't really have a favorite one in particular but I love to read and keep up with the times even though I don't even touch 95% of the things I read about.
I have no qualms against, Designer News - I think it's perfect as it is. I'm just waiting for its community to explode :)

I know it may not be a popular opinion here but you should consider WordPress. Huge community to the point where you should be able to already find the answer any problem you may come across. It can be as code-heavy as you want.
